Kevin has enjoyed music starting around age 8. When he was growing up, there
were only 2 or 3 TV stations, but he loved listening to the radio play those
tunes. Great tunes and bands like CCR, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple,Uriah
Heap, Grand Funk,Spirit, Clapton, Hendrix,Doors, Jefferson Airplane,Led Zep,
Alice Cooper, Edgar and Johnny Winter, Kansas, Rush, Van Halen,Styx,etc.
Kevin started playing guitar around the age of 12 and loved that rock and
roll sound...and the power of music..turn it up!! Those old tube amps like
Custom,Gibson, and Ampeg really cranked out the sound!!
Gary and Kevin started playing music together around 72-73 and emulating all
those groups above. They have been buddies over all the years.
Kevin joined a rock band called VF in 75 and played for parties and county
fairs,etc.
Then came college in 1977..where Kev taught his fraternity brothers(Lambda
Chi Alpha) about the power of rock by running his stereo through that Ampeg
tube amp..and voila...beer, music and sororities equals one bitchin" party!!
Kevin continued to work to music, song writing, and playing over the years.
Recently his buddy Gary moved back to Indiana and together they formed Lost
Kauze.
